It urges the Invictus Games Foundation to remove Harry from any formal role to refocus attention on the athletes. Recent reports suggest that Harry has struggled to secure the expected financial backing for the Birmingham 2027 Invictus Games. Additionally, a media event promoting the Games reportedly attracted a relatively small audience. The Foundation has chosen Daejeon in South Korea as the preferred location for the 2029 edition of the Games, marking a historic milestone as the first Asian country to host the event.
The Invictus Games Foundation has praised Daejeon’s compelling vision and its partners’ dedication to establishing a meaningful legacy. The Games are scheduled to run from October 6 to 15, 2029, with approximately 550 competitors representing 26 nations participating across 12 sporting disciplines.
