The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) in Oman has launched an ambitious initiative to establish the sultanate as a regional hub for the gaming industry. The ministry has issued a call for expressions of interest (EoI) from local companies and investors to develop, manage, and operate a comprehensive gaming industry hub. Attracting investment and nurturing talent
The proposed hub is expected to play a pivotal role in Oman’s economic diversification efforts. By attracting companies specializing in e-sports, gaming technologies, and digital game development, the initiative aims to create high-value jobs for Omani youth and strengthen the sultanate’s position in the global digital economy.
Interested investors must submit a formal letter requesting participation in the EoI process, along with a copy of their company’s commercial registration certificate. All documents must be submitted in PDF format via email to the ministry’s investment department by August 2.
