This time, it’s reborn exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2offering a new generation of gamers the chance to experience this timeless adventure. The game’s stunning visuals and immersive gameplay promise to captivate both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
KINGDOM HEARTS IV and the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection
The KINGDOM HEARTS series continues to expand with the announcement of KINGDOM HEARTS IV. This new installment takes protagonist Sora to the mysterious city of Quadratumwhere he encounters new characters and unlocks new powers. The game will be available at launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
Additionally, the KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] brings together the beginning of the series’ adventure. This collection includes KINGDOM HEARTS – HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIXKINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologueand KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC). It launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, with a discounted upgrade option for those who own the cloud version on Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and More
Get ready to return to Wuhu Island with Nintendo Switch Sports Resorta new entry in the series coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch 2. This game offers a variety of sports, from Boxing and Table Tennis to Archery and Skateboarding. With intuitive motion controls using Joy-Con 2 controllers, players can enjoy both solo and multiplayer experiences.
The presentation also introduced The Duskbloodsa new multiplayer action game where players take on the role of the Bloodsworn. This game features unique weapons and abilities, with a closed network test scheduled for summer 2026. Other notable announcements include Xenoblade GenesisPokémon Pokopia updates, and Minecraft with enhanced visuals and a super mario Mash-Up Pack.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and Other Highlights
A brand new entry in the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weaveis coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. This tactical RPG features an intertwining story of strength and steel, with four new heroes to discover. The game launches on September 17, with a special edition featuring exclusive collectibles.
Other exciting titles include Orbitalsa retro anime-inspired two-player co-op adventure, and Onimusha: Way of the Swordan action game featuring intense swordplay.
