Weekly gaming recap: Fortnite Lego Ninjango, Minecraft rink work and simulator impressions

A short roundup of recent playtime: cooperative Fortnite Lego Ninjango streaming with Carlos, updates on two Minecraft rinks and early impressions of Gym Simulator and Pumping Simulator 2

Weekly gaming recap: Fortnite Lego Ninjango, Minecraft rink work and simulator impressions

I recently spent a solid block of time returning to Fortnite Lego, focusing on the new Ninjango content and streaming a lengthy session with a fellow creator. The collaboration felt productive: together we explored challenges, advanced through several objectives and kept the stream lively for over five hours. That run gave me momentum and a clear path forward in Ninjango while also highlighting how multiplayer cooperation can speed up progress.

Outside of Fortnite Lego, I turned my attention back to Minecraft where I wrapped up construction on the first rink and staged it for seasonal use. That project now serves as a base for further development, and I’ve begun experimenting with a new structure intended to become the primary rink. As part of that reassessment I’m evaluating whether to remove the second level of the original rink to create a cleaner layout for the updated build.

Fortnite Lego: Ninjango push and a marathon stream

The recent session in Fortnite Lego centered around the Ninjango content arc. Working with Carlos, a Twitch streamer and gamer I recently connected with, we streamed a continuous five-and-a-half-hour run. The length of the stream allowed us to tackle multiple missions and troubleshoot tricky encounters live, which accelerated my progression through Ninjango and exposed a few strategies that are worth revisiting.

Streamer collaboration and outcomes

Teaming up made a tangible difference. Carlos and I divided tasks, shared resources and maintained a steady pace, which turned otherwise grind-heavy segments into manageable sessions. The stream also doubled as a testbed for different approaches: when one of us hit a snag, the other could try an alternate route. That cooperative dynamic is proving to be one of the most efficient ways for me to advance in the Ninjango storyline while keeping viewers engaged.

Minecraft rink projects: finishing touches and design decisions

On the Minecraft front, I completed the first rink and set it up for autumn-style presentation. The first rink now functions as a fully built area ready for decorative and functional finishing work. Simultaneously I started erecting a second rink that, during construction, altered my perception of the original layout. The new rink is shaping up to replace the earlier structure as the primary attraction.

Reevaluation and possible redesign

Because the new rink performs better within the space constraints and aesthetic goals, I’m considering removing the second level from the initial rink. This would simplify traffic flow and allow the new rink to assume the role of Rink #1. The decision isn’t final: I’m weighing the benefits of keeping some legacy elements for continuity versus opting for a cleaner, more modern layout that better fits the current vision.

Simulator impressions: Gym Simulator and Pumping Simulator 2

I also spent time testing two simulator titles. In Gym Simulator, the primary task remaining for me is to outlift an opponent in a weight-lifting scenario. However, the experience is hindered by recurring issues: the game still shows multiple bugs and stability hiccups that affect controls and match consistency. These glitches reduce the satisfaction of progression and make competitive goals feel less reliable.

By contrast, Pumping Simulator 2 is moving forward at a steadier pace. I’m progressing through the usual grind loop and steadily earning in-game currency, but the path to meaningful upgrades still requires a significant time investment. The mechanics are functional and the progression feels fair, though it remains clear that there is still substantial work to do before reaching higher tiers of performance.

What’s next and final thoughts

Moving forward, my plan is to continue the Ninjango push in Fortnite Lego with additional cooperative streams and to finalize the design choice for the Minecraft rinks after some test builds. I’ll keep testing both simulator titles: trying to resolve the Gym Simulator bugs where possible and steadily leveling up in Pumping Simulator 2. Overall, the week combined focused building, collaborative play and testing—each area informing the next steps.

If you follow the streams, expect more cooperative Fortnite Lego content and updated Minecraft builds as I decide whether to tear down the second level of the original rink. I’ll report back with progress updates after the next sessions and look forward to sharing more strategies and design choices.

See you on the next stream, and I’ll post another update after the upcoming sessions.
